A MESSAGE FROM founding ATTORNEY SKIPTON S. REYNOLDS:
“I have been a licensed attorney in Colorado since 2008. I have been specializing in Estate Planning Lawsince 2009. After law school, I initially worked for one of the largest Life Insurance Companies in the U.S., in a number of different roles. But, my main role was to advise financial planners around the country about advanced estate planning topics. These included topics such as complex trusts and taxes. I started my own firm in 2009. Additionally, in 2010, I joined as Of-Counsel with a small estate planning firm. In January of 2012, I rolled out my law firm in earnest as a solo practitioner. I worked with hundreds of clients to do their estate plans. My goal is that my clients walk out of my office feeling a sense of relief that their plan was done the way they wanted it to be. An estate plan, in my mind, is a joint endeavor between the attorney and the client. The initial planning is just the first step. Then, we both have a responsibility to make sure that the plan works as designed over the client’s lifetime.”
